Unit10 I’d like some noodles 第一课时教学设计

.教材依据:人教版新目标英语七年级下册Unit10 I'd like some noodles.

.设计思想

通过设计丰富多彩的语言活动,来激发学生参与整个课堂学习的热情,让学生真正成为学习的主人,从而提高学习效率。积极引导学生通过听说读练等语言活动来认知和掌握有关食物的词汇及如何进行有效地英文订餐。让学生在轻松愉快的语言活动中掌握有关食物词汇和订餐句型。让学生在小组互助合作学习中感受学习的快乐,让学生在角色扮演中体味英文订餐的独特趣味。

 .教学目标 Teaching aims

1.Knowledge objects :   Master some words about food

               Listening and speaking practice

                Order food

2.Ability objects : To improve students integrating skills

3.Moral object : We should save food .

.教学重点 Teaching key points

Key wordsnoodles, beef, mutton, chicken, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes

Key sentence patterns:(1What kind of noodles would you like?

                            I’d like beef and tomato noodles, please.

                         2What size bowl of noodles would you like?

         I’d like a large/medium/small bowl of nooldes.

.教学难点Teaching difficult points

 Guide students to learn how to order food.

.教学方法:任务型教学法Task-Based language teaching method.

.教具Teaching aids

 A tape recorder , multimedia courseware , some objects about daily food

.教学过程Teaching procedures

Step One  Leading in

Tell students a story as following .Then ask students how to order food in a restaurant. They can discuss in groups .

 A woman took her daughter to a restaurant, “What can I do for you ?”the waiter asked. The answers are like this: hamburgers, ice cream, hot dogs, French fries, salad, tomatoes, broccoli, orange, bananas, strawberries, chicken, beef, sandwiches. After a while, the waiter brought them for her. She said :”I haven’t order, I have read the menus for my daughter.”

Step Two: Presentation

New vocabulary

Show some pictures about daily food and ask students to say them in English.

Then let students learn the new words about food by themselves at first . Then guide students to master correct pronunciation. Next give students enough time to memorize the new words as following .

Meat :mutton , beef , fish , pork , chicken.

Vegetables : cabbages, potato, tomato, onion.

Others : noodles, dumping , porridge, pancake , cake, tofu, candy .

Key sentence patterns:

(1What kind of noodles would you like?

         I’d /He’d /They’d like beef noodles

2    What size bowl of noodles would you like?   

         I’d like a large/medium/small bowl of noodles.

Step Three : Listening practice

First of all , let students read the instructions in 1b carefully . Then play the tape twice and ask students to finish listening tasks . Finally, check the answers and give comments .

Step Four : Speaking practice

   Let students read the sample conversation as following . Then guide students to work in pairs to practice their own conversations . Ten minutes later check some pairs and correct their mistakes. After that encourage students to role play their own conversations in pairs and give them comments then .

A: What kind of noodles would you like?

B:  I’d /He’d /They’d like beef noodles

A: What size bowl of noodles would you like?

B:  I’d like a large/medium/small bowl of noodles.

Step Five : Summary

Ask different students to summarize what they have learned in this period and then encourage other students to give supplements and comments.

Step Six : Exercises

Fill in the blanks and read it together.

: Hello! I’d ______some noodles.

B: _______ _______ bowl of noodles would ______ like?

A: _______like _______large bowl of noodles.

B: What _____  _____ noodles would you like ?

A: I’d like mutton ________ potato_________.

    (Answers: like, what size , you , I’d , a , kind , of , and , noodles )

Step Seven : Homework

One : Memorize the new words in 1a.

Two: Make two conversations to order food .

Three : Collect more words about food in our daily life, including meat, vegetables, noodles and drinks.

Step Eight : Teaching reflection

It’s necessary for me to use brainstorming techniques to cultivate students to take part in the group work and think more words about food. And I should correct students pronunciation mistakes in time. Meanwhile, I should give students enough time to practice the target language about ordering food and guide students to role play the conversations between the waiter and customers .Let students feel happiness in class. Also, I think teaching language should be more interesting and easier for students to understand.
