新目标英语八年级上Unit5 Can you come to my party?

教材分析

1．本单元主要围绕“ Can you come to my party?”这个话题，来学习“提出邀请、接受邀请、拒绝邀请并提出理由”。通过话题的学习来学习情态动词can的另一个用法，即“表示提出邀请，征求对方的意见”；学习情态动词have to 的用法；复习巩固Unit3“用现在进行时表将来计划或行动”的用法。本单元在本册属于较为独立的内容，但在日常生活中的实用性较强。

2．本课时主要通过听力、对话练习、完成邀请卡等方式帮助学生掌握如何“提出邀请、接受邀请、拒绝邀请并提出理由”。学习、巩固can 、have to 、be doing sth.的用法。

3．通过本单元的学习，学生了解西方的社会礼仪文化，学习一些人际交往的艺术。

学情分析

1．学生认知发展分析：我的教学对象是边远农村学生，英语基础薄弱，有30%的学生已经对英语学科的学习产生了厌恶心理，消除学生厌学情绪，激发学习兴趣显得至关重要。

2．学生认知障碍点：由于学生在七年级上册“Unit10 Can you play the guitar”中已经学习了情态动词can的一个用法“谈论自己在某一方面的能力、喜好和意愿” ，学生容易与本单元的can 的用法“表示提出邀请，征求对方的意见”混淆。

教学目标

1．知识目标：

（1）全体学生能正确认读、听懂、理解以下词组：study for a test, go to the doctor, visit my aunt, have a piano lesson, help my parents及单词lesson， 90%左右的学生能正确拼写。

（2）85%的学生能熟练说出并能正确写出下列表达法

A: Can you come to my party? 
  B: Sure, I’d love to.或        
    Sorry, I can’t. I …/ I have to …

2．能力目标：95%的学生能够听懂邀请人与被邀请人之间的对话内容，85%的学生可以用“Can you …?”“Yes, I’d love to. ”等进行简单的邀请、被邀请的对话，如果谢绝邀请，还会用“Sorry, I have to …”等来说明理由。

3．情感目标：通过邀请别人和接受或拒绝别人邀请等交际活动，加强同学间的交流，增进同学间的了解。

教学重点和难点

1．教学重点：

（1）词汇：can、 have to\has to、be doing sth.

(2) 句型：谈论“发出、接受、拒绝邀请”的目标语言

2．教学难点：拒绝邀请时会准确地运用have to\has to、be doing sth.给出适当的理由 。

课前课前播放与本课相关的flash动画，引起学生对本课内容的学习兴趣。通过free talk与复习环节巩固学过知识，为新知识的讲授打下良好基础

二、Presentation

4.Watch a short video carefully and try to answer the question :

通过我的生日聚会导入新知识的传授，根据图片理解巩固所学知识。本环节通过练习，复习巩固所学句型，并通过最后的听力对新授内容进一步巩固提升，锻炼学生的知识运用能力

三、Pairwork

T：Work in pairs according to the pictures

B：Sorry, I can’t. I have to…

通过对话练习巩固新授句型,循序渐进逐步掌握句型

四、Listening

1.T：Look at 2a. Listen for the first time and write the names next to the correct students in the picture above.

2. T：Listen to 2b and number the reasons why they can’t go to the party.

2.Listen again and write the numbers.

上个环节对新授句型进行了充分的复习和巩固，再经过这一环节的听力练习，目标语言得到更进一步地巩固。并且通过这部分的听力练习让学生能更加灵活自如地运用本单元所学知识来解决问题。

五、Pairwork

T：Look at the pictures in the screen, try to do pairwork to drill this pattern.

A: Can you come to my party?

B: Sure, I’d love to .

C: Sorry, I can’t. I have a piano lesson.

D: I’m sorry ,too. I have to…

通过对话练习巩固听力中出现的重点内容。从无到有，由浅入深逐步掌握句型。

六、Groupwork

1.T：Ask your friends to come to your birthday party. Find out who can come, who can’t come, fill in the chart.

为学生创设任务型活动，让学生有目的，有针对性的学习。查找信息，完成表格。这一活动既巩固了本课所学的目标语言，又开拓学生的思维，进一步提高他们的语言组织运用能力。

学生学习活动评价设计

教学反思

1.因为我的教学对象是农村学生，他们对生日party 无法真正了解，课后我很多学生反映自己从不过生日，甚至有时自己都忘了自己的生日，更别提生日party了。巨大的落差影响了学生的学习兴趣，也直接导致课堂气氛不是很浓。如果改成约同伴一起出去玩的话，会更贴近学生的实际生活，也更有利于提高学生的学习兴趣。

2.由于这堂课采用的是多媒体教学，其中有大量的声音和图片，在一定程度上调动了一部分学生的学习兴趣。可有些学生一味沉迷于色彩斑斓的图片，注意力不集中，影响了课堂教学效率。这也提醒我以后制作课件时插入的图片花样不能太多，能达到辅助教学的效果就行，否则会酿成适得其反的后果。     

3.学生非常害怕听力，一放听力很多学生就兴趣大跌。很多学生反应听力太难，语速太快，他们来不及听懂上一句，下一句又过去了。对此，我觉得我在上课时对听前热身不够，没有调动学生的对听力的兴趣；另外，我在对听力技巧的指导方面也做得不够，导致学生无从下手。我想我在听前热身和听力技巧的指导方面有待加强。
