A Charity Concert 教学设计与反思
(外研版初中起点Unit 2 of Module 1 Book 6)
教学目标:1.掌握形容词、副词的用法;
2.熟练掌握一般过去时被动语态。
重点词汇:international,welcome,show,clap,cheer,college,travel,cuccess
Internet,set,record+
重点句型:A charity concert was held in London last week.
He was followed by Tracey G who sang her beautiful song “Going Too Fast”.
Teaching steps:
Pre-reading
a. Show some pictures of orphants on the screen.Then ask:
How can we help the orphons?
What can we do to help them?
How to raise money for poor children? What about holding a concert?
(设计意图:通过多媒体展示孤儿贫苦生活现状,引起学生的同情心,既而通过提问引入,激发学生阅读的动机。)
b. Play the video of the charity concet(for two minuutes).Then show some words about the concert.
For example:
Pop(popular),concert,karaoke,famous,raise money for...,charity
Read the new words loudly.
(设计意图:提供必要的背景知识,引出话题;为进一步阅读解决理解上的语言障碍。)
一、 Study the text(passage).
1.Play the tape.The student scan through the text, underline the importantant and new words.(泛读)
2.Let the students read the passage quietly again,guessing the meaning of the words connected with the sentences.Help the students if possible.Show the new words on the screen,if possibe,read and explain them.
(设计意图:采取精泛结合的原则,让学生逐渐从泛读向精读过渡。阅读前向学生交待清楚阅读的任务,保证阅读的有效性。)
3.Listen to the tape again,then answer the questions.Show the questions on the screen :
①Where was the charity concert held?
②How many people went to the concert?
③How long did the concert go on?
④Who started the idea for the concert?
⑤How long did they spend planning the concert?
⑥How much money did the concert raise?
⑦How will the money be used?

4.找出课文中表示被动的句子,复习一般过去时被动语态(大屏幕显示):
▲A charity was held in London last week.
▲He was followed by Tracey G who sang her beautiful song “Going Too Fast”.
▲The idea for the concert was started by two college students from London.
▲It was seen on TV and on the Internet by millions of people around the world.
▲Both Emma and John were amazed by the amount of money that they had raised.
Read the sentences aloud then summarize the past tense passive voice: was/were+v-ed
(设计意图:遵循精读以“精雕细刻”“点滴不漏”的原则,讲深讲透英语知识。)
5.Read and circle in the textbook.
(学生对课文印象已较深,故要快速完成此项练习)
6.Read the passage after the tape or teacher.
(设计意图:进一步巩固所学词汇、句型及进一步认识、感知课文,遵循“词不离句,句不离段,段不离篇”的原则。)

教学反思:
1.本课使用多媒体进行教学,为阅读提供了必要的背景知识,激发了学生阅读的兴趣。
2.在教学中,采用了泛读与精读相结合的原则,提高阅读的有效性与实用性。
3.采用提问式阅读教学模式,促进师生之间的双向交流。
4. 但整节课小组活动少,相应的练习亦不多,若能提前预习则大大提高教学之效率。
